Oct 13, 2010 (newstodate): Airfreight volumes at Estonia's Tallinn Airport jumped to a total of 1,253 tonnes in September 2010, indicating some return of the ex-China transfer cargo to Russia.
Despite the jump, volumes were still 32.5 percent below same month in 2009.
1,019 tonnes of the total were import cargo, down 37,9 percent, y-o-y.
On the positive side, export air cargo is still increasing at the airport, up 75.7 percent, y-o-y, to 152 tonnes.
For the period January-September 2010, volumes total 8,880 tonnes, down 36 percent, y-o-y, due to the shortfall of the ex-China volumes earlier brought in by ULS.
