Oct 29, 2010 (newstodate): The Ukrainean authorities have given the green light for expansion of the the country's "Ukrainean Aviation Group".
Currently comprising the Ukrainean carriers Aerosvit and Donbassaero, the group will now also include Dniproavia, enhancing the group's capabilities as a comprehensive provider of air transport services, as well as strengthening the country's Kiev Airport's potentials as a transit hub.
The expansion of the aviation group will also enhance the participating airlines' joint streamlining of services, route networks, aircraft acquisitions, and bring down unit costs through joint utilization of offices and resources.
In the fleet of Aerosvit are 17 aircraft, 10 aircraft are operated by Donbassaero, and Dniproavia adds a further 24 aircraft to the group.
