Oct 11, 2010 (newstodate): The Russian carrier Ural Airlines has decided to expand its fleet of Airbus aircraft.
The carrier will acquire three Airbus A330-300 aircraft to be delivered in 2012, and enabling the carrier to expand its long-haul services to markets in South America, Japan and Australia.
Already next spring, Ural airlines will take delivery of two Airbus A320 and two A321 aircraft.
The carrier, based in Yekaterinburg, already operates a fleet comprising 12 Airbus A320 and two Airbus A321 aircraft, and plans are to grow the fleet with a further seven Airbus A320 Family aircraft over the next few years.
In the fleet are also four TU-154 aircraft to be phased out as the new Airbus fleet grows.
