Jan 14, 2010 (newstodate): The Latvian ground handling provider North Hub Services has come off to a good start from January 1, 2010, at Riga Airport.
Already after few days of operations, the company has added a new customer, TNT Airways to its customer base that has comprised airBaltic, Belavia, Flight Consulting Group, LOT Polish Airlines, Lufthansa and Norwegian Air Shuttle from the start.
NHS offers station management, passenger services, ramp services and flight operations from the start, but will add cargo ramp handling to offer a full range of ground handling services by the end of its first year of operations.
Ambitiously aiming to become no less than the No.1 Ground handling provider in Northern Europe, North Hub Services has also plans for expanding its operations to other airports in the Baltic Sea region, with Lithuania's Vilnius Airport as an obvious first target.
