Jan 28, 2010 (newstodate): The Latvian carrier has announced the opening of its seventh new route in 2010 from its home base at Riga Airport.
The carrier will introduce flights between Riga and Manchester from March 29, 2010, offering three weekly rotation with Boeing 737 aircraft.
Manchester is also a new destination by airBaltic from Vilnius, Lithuania, from this spring.
In 2010, airBaltic will open "at least" nine new direct routes from Riga, Latvia, having earlier announced a spree of new destinations from Riga including Madrid, Belgrade, Vaasa, Umea, Beirut, and Amman.
