Jan 27, 2010 (newstodate): Latvia's airBaltic Cargo has appointed MAC Holdings to represent airBaltic Cargo offline in Sri Lanka and the Maldives.
The new GSA contract marks the first time that the airline has been represented in Sri Lanka, and cargo is reportedly already beginning to flow along this new venue.
The agreement was facilitated by MAC Holdings' fellow EGSAC member Air Proxy, based in the Baltic States, that brought the two parties together.
MAC Holdings is using interline agreements with Kuwait Airways and Jet Airways to connect to airBaltic Cargo's hub at Riga, Latvia.
