Jan 12, 2010 (newstodate): The Latvian carrier is announcing further additions to its growing route network in 2010.
On March 29, 2010, airBaltic will launch flights from Riga to Umeaa in Sweden, and the next new route soon to be announced will be operated from Vilnius, Lithuania to London.
airBaltic will become the first carrier to link Umeaa and Riga that are both nominated to become European cultural capitals in 2014.
Until May 30, airBaltic will fly from Riga to Umeaa four times a week increasing to daily services from May 31, 2010.
The flights to and from Umeaa, operated with Fokker 50 aircraft, will include a stop at the Finnish town of Vaasa.
