Jan 04, 2010 (newstodate): Finnair has now taken delivery of its fifth Airbus A330-300 aircraft, and the MD-11 fleet has now been fully replaced.
The latest Airbus A330 aircraft was delivered on December 23, 2009, and the aircraft was put into commercial operation from the same day.
Finnair will eventually operate a total of eight Airbus A330-300 aircraft and five A340-300 aircraft.
Further down the line, the carrier will take delivery of a total of 11 Airbus A350-900 aircraft, originally slated for delivery from 2011 to 2013.
