Jan 20, 2010 (newstodate): Estonia's attitude towards the idea of forming a pan-Baltic airline seems to be rather vague.
-The idea of pan-Baltic airline is quite old and promoted mainly by Lithuania, says Rasmus Ruuda, Estonia's Ministry of Transportation Counsellor.
-As Estonia finds our national airline company Estonian Air to be sufficiently strong to serve our needs for air transportation, we rather find the notion of a pan-Baltic carrier just an feasible, but not a very realistic, idea.
-We are currently in negotiations with SAS about the future of Estonian Air, and this is our main focus right now, says Mr Ruuda.
