Jan 18, 2010 (newstodate): The Belarus carrier Belavia plans to add flights to more new international destinations in 2010.
On January 19, 2010, the carrier is launching services on its new route from Minsk to Riga, Latvia, and next on the table are plans for opening flights from Minsk to Yekaterinburg, Russia, later this year.
Also under consideration is the opening of a new route from Minsk to Abu Dhabi, in the Emirates.
To facilitate the sustained growth in the network, Belavia is also airing interest in taking in a further two CRJ200 aircraft, already operating three aircraft of this type on routes to Amsterdam, Beirut, Berlin, Kaliningrad, Kiev,Moscow, Riga, Saint Petersburg, Warsaw, and Vienna.
Founded in 1996, Belavia now offers regular flights to 30 airports in 19 countries.
