Jan 26, 2010 (newstodate): Latvia's capital Riga Airport will see a new airline flying in from this spring.
The Romanian carrier Tarom will launch flights on a new route between Bucharest and Riga on March 28, 2010, scheduling four weekly rotations on the route to be served with Boeing 737-400 aircraft.
With Tarom's arrival, the Baltic region will get its first direct flight connection to Romania, currently served only through transfers to other carriers.
