Sep 15, 2009 (newstodate): Member of the SAS Group, Norwegian carrier Wideroe is taking in its second Bombardier Dash 8 Q400 NG aircraft.
The carrier received its first Q400 NG in May, 2009, and will build a fleet of four aircraft before the end of this year.
Wideroe has been operating Dash 8 aircraft wince 2001, having now 17 Dash 8-100 and and seven Dash 8-300 aircraft, while four Dash 8 Q400 aircraft were removed from the fleet in 2007 as the SAS Group withdrew all Q400 aircraft after landing gear incidents.
