Sep 28, 2009 (newstodate): Work is currently proceeding at Sweden's Stockholm Arlanda Airport for construction of a new cargo terminal and BIP.
The 2,200 sq m terminal is being built by Nordic Airport Properties, NAP, for APH Logistics that is associated with the Norwegian company Skipspost AS, based at Oslo Gardermoen.
APH Logistics' new terminal will be dedicated to handling of perishables, and the airport's existing BIP, Border Inspection Post for control of live animals entering EU at Stockholm Arlanda Airport will then be incorporated in the terminal and managed by APH Logistics.
Pending completion of all processes to gain certifications by Swedish and EU authorities, the new set up will become operative from April, 2010.
