Sep 10, 2009 (newstodate): Lithuanian carrier Avion Express has secured the extension of an ACMI contract to fly Royal Mail routes in Scotland for another year.
Avion Express operates the flights on behalf of Loganair.

Formerly named Nordic Solutions, the company was taken over in 2008 by the Icelandic Avion Group when the owners of Nordic Solutions that provided in-night logistics went bankrupt.
Avion Express, based at Vilnius, Lithuania, operates a fleet comprising three SAAB 340A for passenger transportation and four SAAAB 340F freighters.
