Sep 15, 2009 (newstodate): Debt-ridden Czech carrier CSA is seeing unending problems piling up as the deadline in the current privatisation tender is fast approaching.
Only two weeks before the tender is closed, the Czech government has completely revamped the airline's supervisory board following on the the decision by the board chairman to retire in protest against the inability to reach an agreement with unions amidst fights between all parties involved in issues of further drastic cost-savings.
At present only one bidder remains in the tender - the Czech Travel Service Group, partly owned by the Icelandair Group.
