Sep 22, 2009 (newstodate): Coyne Airways has named its first-ever cargo GSA in the Baltic region.
Serving Coyne Airways with cargo sales in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania is now Airproxy, managed by Maanus Matlick and founded in 1995, and with offices in all three Baltic markets.
Airproxy will be marketing Coyne Airways' Boeing 747 freighter services from Frankfurt and Cologne to its Tbilisi hub, with onward services to Aktau, Atyrau, Uralsk, Ashgabat, Baku and Yerevan by regular IL-76 and RFS services.
Airproxy will link to the airline's Frankfurt gateway using its own road feeder services from Tallinn and Riga.
Coyne Airways' decision to enter the Baltic market via a regional GSA is spurred by expectations for increasing demand for its routes into the Caspian and Gulf regions.
Airproxy already provides GSSA services in the Baltic region to airlines including airBaltic, CSA, SAS Cargo, and Singapore Airlines Cargo.
