Sep 03, 2009 (newstodate): Prague and Berlin are set to lose their direct flights to Sarajevo by BH Airlines, operated only since this summer.
Citing low passenger demands on the routes, Bosnia-Herzegovina's BH Airlines will cease its four weekly flights to Prague, Czech Republic, as from today, while the twice-weekly flights to Berlin will stop from September 15, 2009.
The two destinations were among the total of nine new routes opened from this summer after the infusion of new aircraft capacity in the form of a Boeing 737 aircraft provided by Turkish Airlines.
The future of the remaining seven new routes to Stockholm, Copenhagen, Gothenburg, Dusseldorf, Vienna, Skopje and Podgorica will also be reevaluated as to their market potentials.
