Aug 11, 2009 (newstodate): The first Ukrainian-registered Citation business jet, a CJ3 is now in commercial service from its base at Kiev Borispol Airport.
The aircraft has been acquired by the Ukrainean carrier ACR Aero-Charter Airlines that has placed orders for a total of four aircraft, two of which have now been received.
The third and fourth aircraft, one more CJ3 and one XLS+, are slated for delivery in 2010.
Based in Kiev and set up in 1987, ACR is one of Ukraine's leading air charter businesses. The carrier operates a diverse fleet of business jets and has selected the Citation family for its future fleet expansion plans.
