Aug 10, 2009 (newstodate): The Russian carrier Air Volga has received its first of two new CRJ-200 aircraft.
The new aircraft is part of the airline's modernization program, and the second CRJ-200 will arrive at Volgograd International Airport this month already.
Air Volga will use the new aircraft on flights to both regional and international routes on its network comprising destinations in Russia, Armenia, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan.
Together with two Boeing 737-500 aircraft also to be delivered to Air Volga, the CRJ-200 will replace eight Tu-134 & Yak-42.
