Aug 11, 2009 (newstodate): The Russian carrier Atlant-Soyuz, owned by Moscow City's government, is preparing for delivery of new Russian-built aircraft in the coming years.
The carrier is planning for the acquisition of a total of 30-35 AN-148-100 and AN-148-200 regional aircraft, to be delivered under a lease agreement, and will also receive 15 TU-204 aircraft.
Atlant-Soyuz expects to introduce its first five AN-148-100 in operation in 2010, to be followed by the delivery of the first AN-148-200 aircraft.
The entire batch of AN-148 aircraft is expected to be received before the end of 2012.
