Aug 28, 2009 (newstodate): The Russian carrier KD Avia, based at Kaliningrad, has barely avoided a final count-down with Omsk Airport over a growing debts pile.
As part of the agreement reached between the parties, KD Avia will have to pre-pay airport and handling charges before each flight, and the airport has reserved its rights to deny the airline's operation if it fails to meet the requirement.
KD Avia served Omsk Airport with two weekly flights from Kaliningrad.
