Aug 18, 2009 (newstodate): Norwegian provider of snow removing equipment, �veraasen AS has landed a new contract with Polish Airports to provide 10 vehicles.
The contract follows after winning the tender in which �veraasen, together with the Danish company Integra beat three other contenders.
�veraasen will supply Warsaw Frederic Chopin Airport with 10 sets of machines for snow removal to be delivered in three batches during 2010 and 2011, with the first three sets to arrive before February 15, 2010.
So far �veraasen has delivered some 250 similar machine sets for use at commercial and military airports all over the world where snow can be a problem.
In Poland, 12 �veraasen snow removal sets manufactured in Norway have been in operation so far.
