Aug 26, 2009 (newstodate): Lithuania's aircraft leasing company Avia Asset Management has placed orders for more Boeing aircraft.
Avia Asset Management will receive four Boeing 737-300 aircraft in September, financed by US companies and financial institutions.
The company will place the aircraft on leasing contracts with two yet-unnamed airlines after completion of technical inspections and aircraft cabin renovation.
Avia Asset Management is focusing on airline customers in the East European market for aircraft leasing.
Avia Asset Management, part of the Avia Solutions Group, currently has 12 aircraft on leasing contracts with Kazakh, Slovakian, Estonian, Lithuanian, Italian and Dutch airline companies.
The aircraft leasing company plans to have a total of 20-23 aircraft in its fleet before the end of this year.
