Aug 04, 2009 (newstodate): Turkmenistan Airlines has placed a fresh order for three Boeing 737-700 aircraft.
The carrier, based at Ashgabat Airport, already operates a fleet comprising six Boeing 737, four Boeing 757-200, one Boeing 767-300, and seven Boeing 717 aircraft, besides Soviet-built aircraft that will be phased out as the new aircraft are delivered.
Also in the order book is delivery of one Boeing 777-200LR aircraft for state use.
