Aug 03, 2009 (newstodate): British Airways may be considering a return of services from the UK to Macedonia.
The services from London to Skopje were launched in 1999 but suspended again in 2001 after only two years of service.
If current negotiations end successfully, the British carrier may return to Skopje again from Spring 2010, sources say.
Macedonia is currently without a national carrier as MAT Macedonian Airlines with only aircraft is stuck on the ground in a fierce fight with Macedonian state authorities over issues of aircraft safety.
