Jul 02, 2009 (newstodate): With a first flight on June 29, Volga-Dnepr Group's ABC Airlines is now in the air with a new route between Italy and Russia.
The carrier has opened the route between Milan, Italy, and Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport, with two weekly flights as an extension of the airline's Amsterdam service, providing further flight connections via Moscow to Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong with up to 112 tons of capacity.
The carrier is also now offering a once-weekly freighter flight from Frankfurt Hahn to Kabul, Afghanistan.
ABC currently operates 31 flights a week to and from Moscow's Sheremetyevo and Domodedovo airports, linking Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Budapest and Zaragoza with Beijing, Shanghai, Tokyo and Hong Kong.
The airline also operates scheduled domestic all-cargo services to Krasnoyarsk in Russia.
