Jul 30, 2009 (newstodate): The Russian carrier Aeroflot-Nord is expected to resume services between Murmansk and Tromso, Norway, from August 1, 2009.
The carrier has been blacklisted by EU, and the Norwegian authorities prohibited its operations into the country since July 15, 2009.
But after a reassessment of the case, Norway will now lift the ban on a temporary basis and allow for the flight to resume.
The flight to Tromso is an extension of Aeroflot-Nord's route from Arkhangelsk to Murmansk.
