Jul 31, 2009 (newstodate): Poland's Wroclaw Strachowice Airport has awarded a 54 mio euro contract to the German company Hochtief for construction of a new passenger terminal.
Construction work on the new terminal deesigned by the Polish architectural firm JSK has started this month already, and the new terminal will be commissioned in March, 2011.
The new terminal in Wroclaw will have a surface area of 40,000 sq m and increase the airport's total annual passenger handling capacity by 250 percent.
