Jul 27, 2009 (newstodate): Moscow International Airport Domodedovo is steadily expanding its routes offerings and network of destinations in 2009.
In June direct flights to Omsk and Krasnodar by Transaero airlines, to Ivanovo by Region Avia Airlines, to Sochi and Baku by Ural airlines, and to Vitebsk and Gomel by Gomelavia Airlines have been launched.
July has seeen the opening of new flights to Aktau and resumption of flights to Aktyubinsk by SCAT Airlines, and Ural Airlines has launched a second daily service to Novosibirsk.
A total of 50 new flights were launched from Domodedovo in the first half of 2009.
