Jul 03, 2009 (newstodate): July continued the unbroken line in 2009 of cargo growth at Latvia's Riga International Airport.
The airport saw its volumes up by 21.7 percent, y-o-y, to 703 tonnes including 397 tonnes of cargo and 306 tonnes of mail.
The first half of this year thus ended with a total of 4,204 tonnes of cargo and mail - an increase by 17.3 tonnes.
The figures prove that cargo growth is gaining further momentum at Riga International Airport as the year progresses, and June was the strongest-growing months so far into 2009.
