Jul 29, 2009 (newstodate): Estonia and the UAE have decided to work towards the signing of an air services agremeent aiming at opening of the skies for civil aviation between the two markets.
Under the coming air services agreement, any number of designated airlines from both sides will be allowed to perform scheduled air services, and UAE has designated Emirates, Etihad, RAK Airways, Air Arabia and FlyDubai, while Estonia has yet to designate its carriers.
The agreement will allow unrestricted operations with any type and size of aircraft, owned or leased, in both passenger and cargo services on routes between Estonia and the UAE.
The agreement will also include full fifth freedom traffic rights for any carrier operating under the open skies.
