Jul 03, 2009 (newstodate): Prague Ruzyne Airport has now secured a new direct route connecting to Uzbekistan.
The Czech carrier CSA has launched flights from July 2, 2009, between Prague and Tashkent, offering two weekly rotations with Airbus A319 aircraft.
Originally, plans were to launch the new service from June 21, 2009, already, but the start was delayed by so-called "technical problems".
In the Central Asian region, CSA already offers services from Prague to Astana and Almaty in Kazakhstan, and to Bishkek in Kyrgyzstan.
