Jun 02, 2009 (newstodate): The Swedish cargo GSA Airline Services GSA is watching the market for opportunities to grow its airline customer portfolio.
With two full-time and two part-time staff, the company has been set up to serve Singapore Airlines Cargo in the Swedish market with marketing and sales, but this does not preclude visions for more airline customers.
-We would like to grow our customer portfolio, especially with airlines serving the Middle East or the CIS markets, says Lee Pohl, Airline Services GSA, in Stockholm.
-So far we are, however, fully occupied with Singapore Airlines Cargo sales as this carrier has a very strong presence in the Swedish market. But when positive growth and development return to the Swedish market we might be able to increase our staff to allow for more efforts to be devoted to marketing our GSA services to new customers.
-Our participation in the recent Air Cargo Europe in Munich convinced me that at least the potentials are there for increasing our portfolio when the market start to grow again, says Ms Pohl.
The Swedish GSA is a subsidiary the Finnish OY Airline Services GSA, managed by Jari Aaltonen.
