Jun 26, 2009 (newstodate): Slovenian carrier Adria Airways will adjust its aircraft fleet in response to a weakening market.
The carrier currently operates three Airbus A320 aircraft, one of which has been leased to Libyan carrier Afriqiyah Airways.
Plans are to sell the remaining two A320 aircraft from this autumn and deliver back the leased Boeing 737-500 aircraft to its owner, Ukraine International Airlines.
Instead, Adria Airways will introduce two of three Airbus A319 aircraft ordered by April 2010.
The carrier expects to add no new routes in 2009.
