Jun 24, 2009 (newstodate): Serbia's JAT has set July 9, 2009 as the date for a final decision on the airline's fleet modernisation.
The carrier will order new aircraft in the 75, 90 and 125+ seats segments and has been in talks with aircraft manufacturers during the recent period.
Consequently, the carrier will also make decisions on the future of its current aircraft fleet comprising one Boeing B737-200, 10 Boeing B737-300, one Boeing B737-400 and five ATR72 aircraft.
The new aircraft yet to be ordered will enter service with the carrier from 2010 onwards.
