Jun 02, 2009 (newstodate): The US company Scanderbeg Air has announced plans for opening new direct non-stop flights from the USA to Albania and Kosovo from this summer.
The company will launch flights from June 14 from New York to Tirana, using Boeing 767-200ER aircraft from US carrier Sky King Airlines on the route, adding flights from June 16 from New York to Pristina, Kosovo.
The business idea is to offer low-fare air transportation between Europe and the USA to members of the Diasporas residing in the USA and families in Europe.
