Jun 12, 2009 (newstodate): Russia will promote its Sukhoi SuperJet 100 at the forthcoming Paris Air Show that will be the first international presentation of the new aircraft.
The SuperJet 100 will be on flying display as the only Russian aircraft presented this year.
A total of four aircraft will take part in the Russian certification
program, which should be completed in the third quarter of 2009, and international certification is expected by mid-2010.
Sukhoi plans to manufacture at least 700 Superjet 100 aircraft and intends to sell 35 percent of them in North America, 25 percent in Europe, 10 percent in Latin America, and seven percent in Russia and China.
So far the manufacturer has booked about 100 firm orders for the SuperJet.
