Jun 29, 2009 (newstodate): With the completion of Terminal 3 by Q3 this year, Russia's Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport will become SkyTeam's Russian Hub.
The new terminal will take over all Aeroflot flights, both international and domestic, as well as the flights of SkyTeam members, offering the capacity of handling up to 12 million passengers a year - a doubling or the airport's current annual throughput.
The members of SkyTeam international aviation alliance taking part in the Moscow meeting on June 26 2009 will have an opportunity to inspect Aeroflots new passenger terminal at the Sheremetyevo airport.
