Jun 26, 2009 (newstodate): The Russian feeder airline Region-Avia has opened flights on a new route between Moscow and the Mari El Republic, in the eastern part of the East European Plain of the Russian Federation, along the Volga River.
The new thrice-weekly flights will connect Mari El's Yoshkar-Ola Airport with Moscow Domodedovo Airport, using Yak-40 aircraft from Volga-Dnepr Airlines.
