Jun 22, 2009 (newstodate): SAS Cargo will have a new CEO from later this summer.
Currently holding the position, Kenneth Marx has decided to resign after five years in office.
-The final date will be announced as we have designated his successor, and this will happen during this summer, says Mete Vaabengaard, SAS Cargo comunications manager.
-Kenneth Marx has been leading the SAS Cargo Group from a time when its business was much diversified. Now we are scaling back to cargo core business and as the various non-core assets are divested, probably during the latter part of this year, the job now held by Kenneth Marx will have changed considerably, calling for a new profile to be defined.
Kenneth Marx took up the office on May 1, 2004, after 16 previous years with SAS Cargo in various capacities, including five years as SAS Cargo VP business systems.
