Jun 25, 2009 (newstodate): The Icelandair Group has decreased its stake in Travel Service, an Icelandair Group subsidiary in the Czech Republic.
The share capital of Travel Service will be increased through additional acquisitions by the two other co-owners Unimex Group and Roman Vik that will expand their ownership from 34 to 49.9 percent, while Icelandair Group's share will go down from 66 to 50.1 percent.
The largest private airline company in the Czech Republic, Travel Service operates a fleet of 11 aircraft on routes out of Prague Ruzyne Airport.
Icelandair Group first acquired 50 percent of the share of Travel Service in May, 2007, expanded its stake and earlier planned to take over the remaining 50 percent as well.
