The carrier will thus become the airport's second airline to offer international services at Tartu Airport, serving Estonia's second-largest city.
Estonian Air will operate between Tartu and Stockholm, Sweden, offering four weekly rotations with SAAB 340 aircraft operated by Estonian Air Regional, a 100% owned subsidiary of Estonian Air.
airBaltic will launch services between Tartu and Riga, Latvia, from July 3, 2009, already, using Fokker F50 aircraft, with four weekly flights on the route.
