May 07, 2009 (newstodate): Uzbekistan Airways has now received the second and last Airbus freighter from its partner, Korean Air.
Like the first Airbus A300-600F freighter received in April, it will be based at Uzbekistan's Navoi Airport to support the establishing of Navoi as a regional logistics center in cooperate with Korean Air under the agreement signed last year.
Uzbekistan Airways will set up traffic with the two freighters to Delhi, Bangkok and Moscow, later expanding with freighter flights to Europe and to destinations in Asia, turning Navoi into a logistics hub for this traffic.
