The aircraft has gone to Norway, for delivery to the SAS Group company Wiederoe as the first of a total of six aircraft ordered.
A de Havilland/Bombardier customer since 1957, Wideroe currently operates 30 de Havilland/Bombardier Dash 8-100, Q300 and Q400 aircraft with 330 flights a day to 36 domestic and seven international destinations.
Until October 2007, Wideroe operated four Bombardier Dash 8 Q400 that were then grounded and removed from the fleet after landing gear incidents with the aircraft type in SAS.
