Apr 16, 2009 (newstodate): Construction works on a new cargo and logistics centre at Serbia's Nis Constantine the Great Airport has run into delays.
The construction works were due to start in April, but the Serbian geodetic institute's preparatory works have still not been completed, forcing the project to remain in a limbo.
Behind the project is a consortium comprising the Austrian real-estate developer EYEMAXX and the British investment fund, Chayton Capital, that signed a contract with the airport authorities in October 2008.
The full completion of the planned 100 mio euro project is expected to last for about four years.
