APR 28, 2009 (newstodate): A group of companies involved in aircraft trading, financing or leasing have set up ATLA, the Aircraft Traders & Lessors Association.
The primary goal of ATLA is to promote an ethical code conduct of business within the industry.
The organisation will be open to airlines, aircraft manufacturers, traders, and lessors.
An initial board comprising eight members have been set up, headed by Garbis Ingilis, World Trade and Aircraft Leasing, the Netherlands.
Also on the board is Marc Melgaard, Aerolink Denmark.
