Apr 02, 2009 (newstodate): With the start of the summer schedule, Aeroflot-Cargo is launching more freighter services to Asian destinations.
Starting from April 2, 2009, the carrier will increase its services to Hong Kong to three weekly rotations, driven by increasing market demands.
The routing will be Frankfurt Hahn - Moscow Almaty Hong Kong Karaganda (technical landing only) Moscow Frnakfurt Hahn.
From April 4, 2009, Aeroflot-Cargo will resume freighter flights to Beijing from Frankfurt Hahn via Moscow to Beijing, seeing stable loads for a sustained period.
The Beijing flights will see the DC-10-40 freighter replaced by the carrier's new MD-11F aircraft.
Finally, the carier will add its third weekly flight to Shanghai from April 8, 2009.
The new Shanghai flight will be routed from Frankfurt Hahn directly to Shanghai, returning via Novosibirsk to Frankfurt Hahn, while the existing two Shanghai flights will continue to operate directly in both directions.
Aeroflot-Cargo is currently operating three MD-11F aircraft, and expects to take delivery of its fourth aircraft within two months.
