Mar 13, 2009 (newstodate) Armenia's Zvartnots Airport is feeling its share of the general decline in world air transportation.
During the first two months of 2009 the airport saw its passenger volumes down by 5.5 percent, y-o-y, to a total of 160,976 passengers, while aircraft movements were down 15.5 percent to 1,016 take-offs and landings.
During the same two months the airport handled a total of 185 tonnes of air cargo exports and 635 tonnes of cargo imports.
