Mar 23, 2009 (newstodate): Ukrainean carrier Aerosvit is heading towards a busy spring and summer season.
Starting from April 1, 2009, the carrier will inaugurate a new service from Kiev to Astana, Kazakhstan, first as a weekly service but increasing to two weekly rotations from May 1.
Aerosvit already operates flights on the route from Kiev to Almaty, Kazakhstan, and this will be increased from three to four weekly rotations from June 7, 2009.
June 28, 2009, will also see the launch of a new service from Kiev to Dusseldorf, Germany, offering four weekly flights.
On the long-haul route network, Aerosvit is preparing to start once-weekly flights from Kiev to Shanghai, China, from May 25, 2009, using Boeing 767 aircraft on the route, while frequency on the carrier's route to Beijng will be upped to three weekly services from March 25.
