Mar 09, 2009 (newstodate): Turkey and the three Scandinavian countries are to finalise a new new air services agreement in 2009.
The three Scandinavian countries of Denmark, Norway and Sweden cooperate on joint air services negotiations with other countries, with each county shouldering responsibility for specific geographic segments.
Norway is leading the process with Turkey, and a new agreement is expected to be finalised by June, 2009.
The new air services agreement will further enhance the liberalisation of passenger and cargo air services between the parties, and harmonise existing agreements with EU legislation.
